Management and Science University (MSU) sends its School of Education and Social Sciences (SESS) students visiting a special kind of school to expand their expertise.
The School in Hospital was an eye-opener both intellectually and emotionally as some of its pupils are terminally ill. Story-telling and colouring were called on to engage with the young charges on their social level. The visiting students learned much from their resident pupils, making full use of all available opportunities from the live learning experience.
The School of Education and Social Sciences (SESS) offers diploma and degree programmes in early childhood education as well as counselling and guidance and teacher education. The range for teacher education includes Physical Education and Health, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Science, Visual Arts, and Teaching of English as a Second Language (TESL).
