Management and Science University (MSU) 21st Convocation Ceremony
1,871 New Graduates From 77 Programmes Received Their Scrolls in the Three-Session, Two-Day Event Early August at the MSU Shah Alam Campus

A total of 1,871 new graduates received their scrolls at the 21st Convocation Ceremony of Management and Science University (MSU). The three-session graduation event, held at the University’s Chancellor Hall in Shah Alam over two days, kicked off the first Sunday in August, graced by Management and Science University (MSU) Chancellor, Tuanku Hajah Haminah Haji Hamidun.

The 21st Convocation Ceremony of Management and Science University (MSU) awarded 35 PhD degrees, 42 Master’s, 883 Bachelor’s, and 911 diplomas. Debuting from the School of Graduate Studies (SGS) and the Faculty of Information Sciences and Engineering (FISE) were graduates of Master in Biomedical Sciences and of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, respectively.
The Management and Science University (MSU) Honorary Doctorate in Pharmaceutical Science was awarded to Japan’s Josai International University (JIU) President, Professor Dr Kenji Sugibayashi.

The coveted Chancellor’s Gold Medal Award went to Bachelor in Investment Management with Honours Mohamad Azmirul Hazny Abd Hafiz from the Faculty of Business Management and Professional Studies (FBMP).
Bachelor of Biomedical Science with Honours Wan Farah Wan Ibrahim and Diploma in Multimedia graduate Danish Haikal Asman, respectively from the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences (FHLS) and the Faculty of Information Sciences and Engineering (FISE), took home the President’s Award.
Dr Muhammad Isa Al-Wafa Zulakmal, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), of MSU’s International Medical School (IMS) Bangalore Campus, bagged the Mohd Shukri Yajid Outstanding Award.
Fifty-five other graduates received the Management and Science University (MSU) Academic Award and Industry Award.
The Faculty of Business Management and Professional Studies (FBMP) presented the most number of graduates. In a close second and third were the School of Hospitality and Creative Arts (SHCA) and the School of Education and Social Sciences (SESS), followed by the Faculty of Information Sciences and Engineering (FISE), the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences (FHLS), the International Medical School (IMS), and the School of Pharmacy (SPH).
The School of Graduate Studies (SGS) and the Graduate School of Management (GSM) presented 77 postgraduates combined.
The School of Hospitality and Creative Arts (SHCA) presented the highest number of graduates across all programmes through its Diploma in Culinary Arts.
