Creativity, Starring String Art

Campus Celebration of 60th National Independence Day Anniversary Stars Creative Logo Tribute by Students of Management and Science University (MSU)

Creative outputs trace their genealogy to ideas that began with questions, thus the freedom to ask and pursue ranks an important factor to creativity. Management and Science University (MSU) celebrated the nation’s 60th Merdeka Anniversary with a tribute to the enabling role of independence.

With building scheduled for only one day, the 60th-Merdeka Logo Using String Art programme had to pull in concentrated effort. Taking to the theme of the National Independence Day, throwing in creative talent and technical prowess into the mix, it brought the University’s Creative Art Club and the Faculty of Information Sciences and Engineering (FISE) together in the spirit of Sehati Sejiwa. The resulting creativity was explosive, culminating in an excellent piece of string art, whilst the creative interaction was a canvas, for inter-personal skills to flourish among the budding artists.

Creativity is the capability to connect things learned through experience, which is why experiential learning is the star of the Management and Science University (MSU) curriculum. Combining real world with hands on, a source of learning and development, it provides the education necessary to enhancing creativity for the nation’s economy.

The String Art 60th-Merdeka Logo was proudly created by students of Multimedia, Graphic Design, Games Design and Animation, and Creative Video and Photography, and the programme jointly organized by FISE’s Department of Media Science and Graphic (MSG) with the Creative Art Club of Management and Science University (MSU).
