MSU is APIEM’s first International Centre of Excellence in Malaysia

Accreditation awarded by Asia Pacific Institute of Events Management to Management and Science University (MSU)

Management and Science University (MSU) has proudly emerged the first Malaysian International Centre of Excellence of the Asia Pacific Institute of Events Management (APIEM).

The distinction was awarded by APIEM against eleven other international centres of excellence (ICEs) in a regional network that includes universities in Taiwan, the Philippines, and Indonesia.

The Management and Science University (MSU) School of Hospitality and Creative Arts (SHCA) had impressed APIEM with the University’s teaching and learning facilities.

Equally impressive had been SHCA students clinching the Best Paper award at a conference by the region’s leading association for hospitality and tourism education, the Asia Pacific Council on Hotel, Restaurants and Institutional Education, APacCHRIE.

The APIEM accreditation, among others, affirms the international standard of the event management programmes of Management and Science University (MSU).

The quality evaluation not only places MSU’s Bachelor in Event Management (BEM) and Diploma in Event Management (DEM) on par with the best event management courses across the Asia Pacific region, but also assures employers of a quality talent pool for the event management hiring market from among MSU graduates.

Management and Science University (MSU) is slated to host APIEM’s first international conference in 2018.
