RM5mil in revolving seed fund to help students of Management and Science University (MSU) turn entrepreneurial ideas into sustainable businesses

Management and Science University (MSU) has launched the Jump$tart programme for its entrepreneurial students, past and present.

Facilitated by the Management and Science University (MSU) Leadership and Entrepreneurship Advancement Institute (LEAD), the programme is designed to carry entrepreneurial ideas through to realization and sustainability.

From ideation to formation, and growth to maturity, Jump$starters will be guided and coached in the administration and risk management of their entrepreneurial business, with full access to all the programme’s incubator facilities, networking opportunities, and professional expertise.

For a comprehensive entrepreneurial ecosystem spanning the breadth of its academic disciplines, Management and Science University (MSU) won the Most Entrepreneurial Private University 2016 Award from the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia.

The Jump$tart programme was launched in conjunction with the joint Finance, Investment and Accounting Colloquium Series (FIACoS 3.0) and Business Management and Entrepreneurship Conference 2017 (BMEC2017), both organized by the Faculty of Business Management and Professional Studies (FBMP).

Twenty-one MSUrians making up the pioneer batch of Jump$tarters are from the Faculty of Business Management and Professional Studies (FBMP), the Faculty of Information Sciences and Engineering (FISE), the International Medical School (IMS), the School of Hospitality and Creative Arts (SHCA), and the School of Education and Social Sciences (SESS).
