MSU iReX is an acronym for Management & Science University idea Regeneration eXpo. It is organized by Faculty of Information Sciences & Engineering (FISE) which also invites the companies, international organizations/institutions, private sector players, non-governmental organizations and public. It is a FISE flagship program held for the purpose of educating the public, sharing the innovations and promoting the UN Sustainable Development Goals. In addition, iReX offer an all-purpose event with its outstanding final year project exhibitions focusing on eco-innovation, business networking, alumni discussions and breakout sessions.

MSU iReX 2020

MSU iReX 9th – Virtual Edition is the first of its kind to be held at MSU hosted by FISE. This virtual exhibition offers a good view of FISE final year project students on Graphic & Multimedia, Engineering & Technology and Information Science & Computing. The ninth edition of MSU iReX will be be done virtually due to the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO). This is the first time FISE has put up a virtual exhibition and it will be the first of many to come.

“Idea Re-generation” means anyone regardless of areas have the opportunities to re-generate or recreate the old & traditional thinking into a new, creative and innovative idea or products. The current edition will involve a total of 135 Bachelor students and 93 Diploma students final year project students. There are 146 students doing project 1 will also join the event as student committee. The evaluation and exhibition will be conducted via cyberspace thru various online platforms such as website, zoom meeting and social media like YouTube and Instagram. All of the projects are categorized under 5 FISE key research areas namely Sustainability, Engineering Innovation Technology, Cyber Security, Big Data and New Media Technology.

Apart from FISE Final Year Project Exhibition and demonstration, there are participations form industries; Industrial talks sharing and training workshops. FISE clubs; Creative Art Club, Photo Video Club, Young Engineering Club and Computer Forensic Club will also involve with club registration and activities. FISE Alumni will join to share their experiences with the juniors and session to register with My MSU.
